The river is currently running at 29,000 cfs and will increase by tonight to 37,000 cfs and the Corps told us this morning that it will stay at that level for the next 2-3 weeks and due to the reservoirs upstream being well above pool they can’t do anything about lowering the discharge in the river. Compounding the issue is the current path of the tropical storm Chantal has it coming up the river. Under those conditions there is no way we can run the race next weekend.
