The time is here…. Thunder on the Savannah River. From River Racers all the way up to the Nitro Top Fuel; the action continues for the twenty second year in a row. Not only do you get to see the great action on the water, your dollars stay in the community.
Today’s test and tune had the thunder rolling on the water. Tonight fans also got an extra treat. The night of fire was something to see. The night of fire let fans get an up close and personal view of not only the IHBA boats, but were also greeted by the boats pilot. If you had a child with you, chances were that they could get in the boats and sit in the pilot’s seat. This was a treat for all children who wished to join in.

If you missed out on today’s test and tune and the night of fire, you are not out of luck. Saturday at the Augusta Water Front Park qualifying begins. Top Fuel IHBA boats came all the way from the west coast to be in this event. You will also see several of the lower divisions; who put on a great show themselves.

Fans get a closer look
Areas are provided for spectators to cool down, so no need to worry about the heat. The children will not let down either. There will be video games, rock climbing walls and even a sprinkler shower for anyone who would like to join in.
Come one and come all. There is no age limit on fun. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. |
