Southern Nationals starting line
The weather is getting hot in Augusta, and that means only one thing, raw horsepower meeting the water.
It's time for The 22nd annual Augusta Southern Nationals On July 20-22 the Augusta Waterfront Park will be transformed into the top boat racing track in the Southeast.

All the IHBA stars will be there vieing for the richest purse in Drag Boat Racing.
The weekend begins with the test and tune session on Friday. Fans get their first chance to see the boats thundering down the liquid quarter mile, then later in the evening, all the excitement moves to the Augusta Commons for the Famous Night of Fire.
Fans get a chance to meet, talk, and take photos with their favorite drivers along with a close up look at the boats
As darkness falls, the thunder roars and the fire flies when the boats crank up their powerfull motors.
Saturday boasts a full day of boats on the water as every boat qualifies for the race on Sunday.
Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased thru tixonline.com or by visiting Georgia Bank and Trust and also available at Four Seasons Food and Gas.
